Programming Double Espresso

ß Prepare the portalter holder with the two cup lter basket and ll with nely ground espresso. Using

the tamping tool, rmly tamp the coffee grinds. For tips on tamping, see “Tamping the Coffee Grounds”

on page 26.

ß Secure the portalter holder to the brew head with the portalter angled to the left when inserting.

Once inserted, move to the right to secure.

NB: Do not apply excessive pressure when securing the portalter as this may cause damage to the

appliance.

ß Place two cups under both pouring spouts.

ß To begin programming press the programme button. The light around the programme button will

illuminate with a constant blue light.

ß Press the double espresso button once to start the espresso pour. The light around the

double espresso button will ash.
